We currently deliver to the UK, Europe and several countries throughout the rest of the World (including USA, Canada, Japan). Our delivery charges are:
UK Mainland (Standard 1-3 days) : £4.50
UK Mainland (Express1-2 days) : £6.50
UK Mainland (Saturday before 1pm Delivery) : £12.00
UK Mainland (Next day Special Delivery) : £8.50 (If ordered before 1pm)
Europe & Rest of World: £20.00
The prices listed are per order, not per item.
We aim to deliver all orders within 24 hours, however if any of the items are not in-stock delivery may take between 3-14 days. In the rare event you order an item which is out of stock we will contact you by telephone or email as quickly as possible to notify you - you are entitled to cancel the order at this stage should the delayed delivery be inconvenient.
All orders will be delivered 1st Class Recorded Delivery & will require a signature upon delivery.
If the order arrives damaged i.e. there is visible damage to either the goods or packaging we ask that you refuse delivery and request it to sent back to us. We will then inspect the damage and have a replacement sent to you straight away. Alternatively, if any minor damage is noticed upon removal from the packaging we ask that you contact us immediately so we can assist to rectify the situation.
We reserve the right to cancel any order which is logistically too complicated to deliver and will treat this order as a cancelled order. A refund will be given if any monies have been paid.
Cancellation & Returns Policy
Once your order has been placed it will immediately begin to be processed therefore it may not be possible to cancel at this stage. If you do wish to cancel please email immediately at email@example.com and we will confirm if your order has already been dispatched.
If your order has been dispatched you do have the right to a refund on the condition our returns procedure is followed - please see Returns Procedures below.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return it to us and we will gladly issue a refund within 14 days of the purchase date (refunds do not include delivery costs).
All you need to do is confirm your return in writing within 7 days from receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org and ensure your item reaches us within 14 days of purchase date.
Items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged and unused with all original tags attached. Item(s) must arrive back to us within 14 days (21 days for International Orders/Orders Made Outside the UK)
When trying on items please be extremely careful as we cannot accept items that have make up stains or pulls.
Return postage of unwanted goods is to be paid by the consumer
There’s 2 simple steps you need to do in order to return your item(s)
These steps are:
1. EMAIL/CALL: Please email us to state you are returning your item. You must include your full name, booking confirmation number, number of items and name of item(s) THIS MUST BE DONE WITH 7 DAYS OF RECEIVING YOUR ITEM – also please advise reason for return.
2. SEND: All returns to be sent: Lace Boutique, 8-10 Middlegate, Newark, Notts, NG24 1AG
We understand that you may wish to examine the goods as you would when purchasing from a shop but we do request that you take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession (Please be very careful when trying on garments as jewellery/perfume/deodorant can damage a garment).
Refunds are offered minus delivery charge (if you paid for delivery). We’ll offer a refund on delivery charge if the item(s) are faulty, plus you will be credited for reposting the item(s) back to us. Please beware it can take up to 28 days to resolve the issue.
Once the item has been unpacked & approved, refunds will usually be processed the same day (pending time of delivery).
You will receive an email confirmation acknowledging your refund . After you have received this email please be aware it can take between 2-14 days for the refund to credited/shown in your account.
If for some reason we cannot offer you a refund (i.e. missed deadline, item not in same condition as we sent it etc) we will email you as soon as we receive your returned item(s).
Any returned item(s), which have been worn or washed will be returned to you and a return postage cost will be charged.
Lost or Delayed Items:
Lace Boutique cannot accept liability for delayed deliveries beyond our control.
If your order gets lost in transit we will refund you in full but we do not pay compensation for items lost which is out of our control.
When returning your item we highly recommend you send via recorded delivery, as we do not take responsibility for any items lost in the post when you’re returning your item(s). The cost of returning unwanted item(s) is to be paid for the consumer unless the item is faulty.
If your item is faulty you will receive a full refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
For us to do this, you must follow the following instructions:
Email us at email@example.com stating your full name, customer reference number and contact details. You must state what item has the fault and describe the fault in as much detail as possible.
We will respond to your message within 48 hours.
Return the item to us within 14 days of you receiving the item(s).
You MUST keep proof of postage and we strongly recommend that you resend it back ‘Special Delivery’ if posting via Royal Mail. This way the item is insured and you can track that we have received it.
Once the item has been processed and fault clarified you will receive a full refund plus your postage fee* (we will pay up to a maximum of £10 postage fee. We will know how much to refund for postage as this will appear on the stamp/package).
You will receive an email confirmation acknowledging your returns within 24 hours. After you have received this email please be aware it can take up to 14 days to process the fault claim.
Once this is done you will receive another email verifying your full refund.
Please note it takes between 2-14 days for the refund to credit/show in your account.
